Greetings from <Summoners War: Chronicles>!

 

We would like to inform you of the Jun. 15th update note.

 

An app update will take place in this update.

The game will be unavailable on previous versions after the app update.

 

Please make sure to update the app before you play.

 

There are two parts to this update note.

Part 2 will be revealed after the Jun, 15th regular maintenance.

 

Please read below for more details.

 

* This update note only applies to EU, JAPAN, and ASIA.

 


■ Key Updates

 

▶ Raid
 


- [Elite: Tree of Heroes] Raid will be added, featuring the elf hero “Farakel” who borrows power from Monsters.

- Recommended PWR: 502,900
- Strategy Info: Make Farakel attack the Origin of Fire/Water/Wind on the map with specific attacks.

The positioning of Farakel and Summoners is crucial.

In the final battle, defeat Farakel’s Monsters quickly to increase Farakel’s damage taken.
- Unlocked upon clearing the [Tree of Heroes] quest in [Quest] - [Area Exploration].

- Clearing the [Elite: Tree of Heroes] Raid provides the following rewards.

* 6★ 2A Legend equipment, Farakel's Feather, Farakel's Speartip, Tree of Heroes Coin, Flame Heart, Fire Spirit Heart, Incarnation Heart, etc.

- [Elite: Tree of Heroes] Raid equipment and accessories will be added.

 · [Elite: Tree of Heroes] Raid weapon special effect

   → Increases the skill level of a random active skill by 2. (Cannot exceed MAX LV)

   → Decreases the damage taken in the Arena and Battlefield. (Light equipment)

   → Increases the damage dealt in the Arena and Battlefield. (Dark equipment)

 · [Elite: Tree of Heroes] Raid sub weapon special effect   

   → Increases Monster CRIT Rate.

 · [Elite: Tree of Heroes] Raid accessory set effect

   → Decreases Summoner’s damage taken in the Arena and Battlefield by 11%.

- “Twilight Hero Set” outfits can be crafted with [Elite: Tree of Heroes] Raid clear rewards.

- [Elite: Tree of Heroes] Raid achievements / Shop / rankings / Hall of Fame will be added.

- “Tree of Heroes” will be added to the Raid Coin Shop.

 

▶ New Battlefield [Sunset Island]

- 5v5 Battlefield “Sunset Island” will be added, where you can win by defeating the enemy boss first.

- The allied boss will receive a buff that makes it deal more damage to the enemy boss every time a Guard Tower or Guard Knight in the enemy territory is defeated.
- Defeating 2 Guard Towers and 2 Guard Knights will put the enemy boss in Groggy state for 30 sec.
→ Groggy state: 10 stacks of DMG Taken UP and Stun
- Destroy the neutral base on the edge of the Battlefield to summon allied creatures to assist you in battle.

* Creatures will spawn in the territory that last hit the neutral base (Unstable Summon Device).
* The neutral base will reset after 30 sec. It can be captured again once it resets.

- A large amount of Gold and Victory Seals can be earned as a reward.
- The reward conditions for the Sunset Island are as follows.

* Moon Shadow Forest will be temporarily closed for improvement works.

▶ Battlefield
- [Sky Waterfall Island] will be changed and improved as follows.
 · Points earned will now show “Takedown”, “Assist”, “Flag Captured”, etc.
 · The multiplier regarding the points earned according to the flag capture time and for capturing 3 or more flags will be shown at the bottom of the flag gauge.
  This information can be checked on a tooltip via the [Battlefield Status] button.
* Flags with high points will now show effects and points.

* The Flag MVP icon on the result screen will be changed.

* Only the top 100 players will be shown. The rest of the players will show “Unranked”. 
- PvP damage reduction in Battlefield will be adjusted to 40%, the same as in Arena.
- The reward and bonus will be shown as a combined value in the Battlefield result screen.

- Title acquisition rewards will no longer be included in the Battlefield result screen.

- “Moon Shadow Forest” quests will be changed to “Battlefield” quests.

 

▶ Guild Siege Battle

- [Guild Siege Battle] will be added, where 3 guilds battle to capture bases and earn points.

* The first season after the update will be a Preseason. The first battle will begin on Jul. 3rd, with the preparation period taking place beforehand.

 

1. Season Schedule

- Guild Siege Battle will be held every 3 months (12 weeks).

- The cycle of “Tally & Preparation  1st Half Battle → Rest → 2nd Half Battle → Tally → Preparation → Matchmaking → 1st Half Battle → Rest → 2nd Half Battle → Tally & Preparation” will take place twice every week.

- Siege Battle will begin at 12pm (local time), and a resting period of 12 hours will be given.
- Rankings and rewards are tallied during the tallying period. Players can apply to participate and set up defense camps during the preparation period.

 

2. Procedures

- Guilds that registered a certain number of guild members as a participant are eligible to participate in the Guild Siege Battle.

* To participate in Siege Battle, at least 10 guild members need to be registered as a participant, and a defense camp needs to be placed in at least 5 of the 12 bases.

* There are no restrictions on the level, PWR, etc. to participate in the Siege Battle.

- The Guild Master or Veterans can select guild members to participate in the Guild Siege Battle. Guild members will place the defense camps.

- The defense camps of guild members participating in the Siege Battle are placed as reserve defense camps in the main base. The Guild Master or Veterans will place them in each base.

* Each guild starts with 1 main base and 12 bases.

- Only defense camps with 4★ Monsters or lower can be placed in bases 2/8/12. The same condition is applied when attacking.

- Guilds that applied to participate will take part in a 1v1v1 battle. Some guilds may join a 1v1 battle.

* Please note that you must apply to participate during the preparation period.
* If you leave a guild and join a new one, your defense must be placed again.

 

3. Battle & Capturing Bases
[Battle]

- Guild members participating in the Siege Battle will receive 5 Attack Tickets in each half of the Siege Battle.
- Enemy bases adjacent to ally bases can be attacked. You can select a defense camp in the enemy base to begin the battle.
- Battle rules are the same as the Arena. Each team consists of 1 Summoner and 4 Monsters.
- Each Monster has fatigue. The fatigue level will be deducted when entering a battle.

* Monsters used for the attack can only be used once. Analyze the opponent's defense camp carefully before attacking.
- The following adjustments are applied in Siege Battle.

 * Summoner’s damage dealt and taken: -40%

 * Monster’s damage dealt and taken: -10%

 * Summoner and Monster’s HP recovery: -30%

- Berserk will be applied once a certain time has elapsed.

* Berserk: Damage increases, and HP recovery decreases over time.


[Capturing Bases]
- Enemy bases can be captured by destroying all the defense camps in the base (base HP reaches 0).

- Each base is connected to adjacent bases. If all adjacent bases of a base belong to the enemy, it is known as an isolated base.

* Isolated bases are excluded from Siege points.

- Capturing a base will grant a repair period (1 hour). Any participating guild member can place reserve defense camps from the main base.

* Bases being repaired cannot be attacked.

- Losing a base will move its defense camps to the reserve defense camp in the main base.

 

4. Result & End of Battle

- Siege points are earned every minute according to the number of bases occupied and battles won.
- If a guild reaches MAX Siege points during the battle period, it will finish 1st place, and the other guilds will be ranked based on the Siege points earned.
- If none of the guilds achieve MAX Siege points, rankings will be determined based on the Siege points after the battle period.



5. Reward
- Guild rank points are determined based on the internal rankings of the matched guild and Siege Battle rankings.
- Guild member rankings are determined based on the contribution score for the corresponding round.

* Contribution rankings are determined every round. Guild rankings are determined every season.
- Rank rewards are given according to the Siege Battle guild rankings. Rewards can be obtained upon entering the preparation period of the next Siege Battle (Crystals, Gem Box, Loot Box)
- Crystal and Gem Box rewards are given to all guild members.
- Guild members with at least 5 contribution can draw a loot box and open it for rewards.

 

▶ Equipment Succession

- [Equipment Succession] enables you to succeed a portion of the enhancement LV, sub-property grade, and Effect Stone of 6★ Legend+ material equipment.

- Equipment succession is available for equipment of the same or higher grade.

E.g.) Succession using 6★ 3A material equipment - Only 6★ 3A equipment or Mythic equipment can perform succession.

* The enhancement LV succeeded is determined based on the grade of the material equipment and target equipment. The target equipment's existing enhancement LV will be removed.

- For sub-properties, only the grade is succeeded. The stat type and enhancement LV are determined randomly.

- Gems equipped to material equipment cannot be succeeded. Visit the village handworker to remove the Gem and apply it to another piece of equipment.

* If an Effect Stone is equipped to the target equipment, but not the material equipment, the Effect Stone equipped to the target equipment will be maintained.

※ Please note that material equipment will disappear when used in succession.

 

▶ Rune

- “Random Rune Crafting” will be added to Rune crafting.
- Runes will be crafted at random based on the selected star grade and rarity.
- Materials and the quantity needed for Random Rune Crafting are as follows.

▶ Outfit Disassembly

- In [Outfit Disassembly], you can use “Premium Sewing Scissors” to disassemble outfits.

 · Only craftable outfits can be disassembled.
· A “Premium Sewing Scissors” recipe will be added [Profession] - [Processing].

- Disassembling an outfit will return the materials used to craft the outfit.

 

▶ Hero Area

- The stats of Elite creatures in the Hero Area will be lowered.

- Elite creatures will now respawn every 5 minutes.

* Elite creature appearance info will no longer be shown in the Hero Area exclusive UI.

- Elite creature hunting reward has been adjusted according to the change in respawn time.

* The hunting reward condition for elite creatures has been changed from participation to the first player to inflict damage.

- Contribution rewards for bosses and elite creatures in the Hero Area have been removed.

※ The contribution reward was given by chance based on the contribution. (Boss: Altered Leather/ Elite: 5★ Legend Rune x2)

- The contribution reward for bosses and elite creatures has been combined to the quest reward.

- Weekly hunting quest rewards for bosses and elite creatures in the Hero Area will be added.

-  “Altered Leather”, the contribution reward for bosses, will now be provided as a quest reward.

 

▶ Galagos Ruins
- [Galagos Ruins] season will be changed from 2 weeks to 4 weeks.

- Clear rewards and shop purchase limits will be adjusted as follows.

■ New Monster

 

▶ 5★ Magical Archer

- 5★ Magical Archer will be summoned to the world of Chronicles.
- Magical Archer has an effect called weak point DMG, which can trigger a variety of additional effects in battle.

※ What is Weak Point DMG?

It is a non-critical attack, activated based on the difference between your Precision and the target’s Evasion.

Activating weak point DMG will amplify the damage based on your Precision.

- Magical Archer’s basic attacks activate Double Shot upon attacking the weak point.

- Effects activated by Inflicting weak point DMG vary for each attribute.

- The details of each attribute variation of 5★ Magical Archer are as follows.

E.g.) 50 <Magical Archer> (Fire) Rate UP summons completed, 50 <Magical Archer> (Water) Rate UP summons completed

 → 50 summon mileage accumulated for each attribute

 

▶ Transmogrification
- Unawakened transmogs that can apply the unawakened state will be updated.
- The unawakened (Origin) appearance below can be purchased with Crystals in [Monster] - [Info] - [Transmog].

  · Only awakened Monsters can be transmogrified.

  · Monster appearance can be changed via [Monster] - [Info] - [Transmog].

■ New/Improvements/Changes

 

▶ Path of Adventure

- Vampire Rune will be added to the “Laboratory of Madness” rewards.

- Despair Rune will be added to the Lava Cave rewards.

 

▶ Repeat Request

- Repeat request objectives for Flurence, Rukurangma, and Kontana have been lowered.

* Flurence: 25 → 20

* Rukurangma: 30 → 20

* Kontana: 30 → 20

 

▶ Raid

- Prof. Luna's Aid buff will now apply to compensate for the number of missing party members in [Foggy Prison] and [White Shadow Castle].

* Prof. Luna's Aid: Increases Summoner and Monster ATK, DEF, and HP.

 

▶ Arena

- You can now check the result without having to see the victory animation if the opponent forfeits during the Summoner weapon selection and Monster pick&ban of Brawl Arena.

 

▶ Repeat Battle

- The final result screen will appear once the last repeat battle has ended.
- Current record and rewards can now be checked during a repeat battle.

 

▶ Symbol
- Symbol tooltip display has been improved.

 

▶ Chat
- Simple chat window background transparency can now be adjusted in the Settings.
- Chat shortcuts are now available on PC.

 

▶ Other

- Monster Book can now be checked via the Monster portrait on the [Statistics] tab of the dungeon strategy info pop-up.

- Added a [Skip] button that can skip the entire chat with the NPC during a quest.
- Tapping the screen while a cutscene is being played will instantly show the Skip button.

- Certain box rewards have been changed to selection boxes.

- Improved certain dungeon/village backgrounds and creature/NPC animation.
