We’ve explained the traits and gave suggestions to help you select Monsters with Ch. 2.

This time we’ll be going over methods to get various game money to help the Monsters grow.

「 First, Get as many 5★ Devilmons and 5★ Rainbowmons! 」

What would be the two core items that you need for 5★ Monster’s enhancement?

They’re the 5★ Devilmons and 5★ Rainbowmons.

Let’s find out where you can get them.

① Monster Skill Enhancement = 5★ Devilmon

The all-rounder game money that’s used to enhance skills of all 5★ Monsters.

Skill levels are very important when you strengthen Monsters in Chronicles.

The value of the damage, effect, recovery amount, etc. vary greatly for Lv. 1 skills and MAX Lv. skills.

Skill level ups may not increase the battle power greatly, but  it’s very difficult for Monsters with insufficient skill level to use all of their abilities even with high battle power. That’s why you have to level up the skills of your main Monsters.

5★ Devilmons can be acquired from the content listed below. 

* Devilmons are also available from various new events.

* Up to 5★ Devilmon x2 can be acquired when you purchase the Summoner/Arena Premium Pass.

* The season purchase count will be increased by x1.5 when you purchase the Galagos/Battlefield Premium Pass.

* All methods are available regularly excluding the Guild Request Event and acquiring from some packages, and they can be acquired 1 time only or seasonally.

② Monster MAX level evolution 3-5★ Rainbowmon, Breath of Life, Breath of Soul

The game money used to increase the current star grade of the Monster and increase the MAX level with Breakthrough Evolution

The MAX level varies according to the star grade and the Breakthrough Evolution completion status of the Monster in Chronicles.

Of course, the basic stats will increase and make the Monster stronger as the current level increases.

In order to Evolve Monsters, you need the default star grade Rainbowmon or the same Monster’s pieces (regardless of the attribute). 5★ Monster Pieces are harder to get compared to 3★/4★ Monsters and the Pieces are also required for Awakening. It’s recommended that you use the Pieces for Awakening and use Rainbowmons for Monster Evolutions.

You can get Rainbowmons, Breath of Soul, and Breath of Life by clearing [Path of Growth]-[Path of Training].

(Although they can be acquired from Piece Exchange and Profession as well, it’s not recommended for beginners as it’s not very efficient.)

「Second, increase the Monster level first and then go for Awakening! 」

① Monster level is the easiest way to increase the battle power! Gather EXP Potions and Angelmons and use them!

Increase the MAX level with Evolution and increase the Monster’s current level with enhancement!

Did you use the Rainbowmon and Breaths to Evolve the Monster to increase the MAX level?

Now it’s time to increase the current level of the Monster to enhance the stats!

You can level up the Monster by clearing dungeons and playing in the field, but playing in the field and clearing dungeons are not the fastest way to level up, with an exception to some dungeons and repeat requests.

* It’s very difficult to clear dungeons with high clear EXP with low level Monsters as the difficulty of the dungeon is very high.

That’s why most Summoners use Angelmons and EXP Potions to enhance Monsters.

Where can you get Angelmons and EXP Potions?

EXP Potions are available from [Path of Growth]-[Path of Training], and they’re also available in bulk from [Repeat Request].

Additional clear EXP is also given for requests that give EXP Potion among the [Repeat Request], so make sure to use the [Repeat Request] content if you need to level up Monsters.

Angelmons are hard to get as dungeon clear rewards and they’re mostly available from events.

② If you’re done with level ups, use Monster Pieces, Essences, and Breath of Life for Awakening!

Did you finish leveling up Monsters with enhancements? It’s time to Awaken them for additional growth!

Monsters with default 3★ are Awakening Transformed when they reach Awakening Lv. 5.

A new skill may be added or the existing skill may be enhanced when Awakening Transformation is completed.

An Ultimate Skill will be added for 5★ Monsters with a very powerful effect, so make sure to complete Awakening Lv. 5 before using the Monsters!

The stats will also be increased according to the Awakening level so it’s very important to complete.

However, you need the Monster pieces of the same Monster to Awaken.

If you feel burdened to use too much game money on Monster growth, try Awakening the Monster up to the level that doesn’t require you to use Monster pieces. 

(Monster pieces won’t be consumed for 3★ Monsters, but Monster pieces will be required starting with Lv. 14 for 4★ Monsters and Lv. 10 for 5★ Monsters.)

Monster Pieces can be acquired from Summoning or from Piece Exchange, Unknown Monster Piece, and etc.

Magic Essence, and Attribute Essence can be acquired from [Cairos]-[Essence Dungeon] and Breath of Life can be acquired from [Path of Growth]-[Path of Training]!
