Hello, this is Summoners War: Chronicles PD Choi Sang-min.

I’d like to share the update details scheduled for Aug. 21.

Please note that the update schedule and content are subject to change during the development process.

[KR Launch 3rd Anniversary]

To celebrate the 3rd anniversary of the Korea launch, we’ve prepared a special event along with new and unique content.

Select 3 out of 5 Monsters to enter a stage, then match puzzles to defeat enemies.

Move core blocks on the puzzle board to connect 3 or more of the same type horizontally or vertically.

Your Monsters will act based on the type and number of connected blocks, and the stage will be cleared upon defeating the final enemy.

Through this event, you can obtain various rewards, including a Light and Darkness Transcendence Scroll, Light and Darkness Legendary Scroll, Destiny Dice, and a large number of Light and Darkness Scrolls.

Additionally, the Monster Transmogrification 'Outing Onmyouji' will be obtainable through this event, so we hope you look forward to it and participate!

[Monster/Constellation Balance Adjustments]

The following Monsters and Constellations will have balance adjustments applied:

- Monster

  · Fire Sword Spirit, Unicorn

  · Water Panda Warrior

  · Wind Sword Spirit, Phoenix (Downward adjustment)

  · Light Art Master, Phoenix (Downward adjustment)

  · Dark Chimera

- Constellation

  · Draco

  · Taurus

  · Aquarius

  · Hydra

After long-term monitoring and internal testing, we have determined that the Wind/Light Phoenix require balance adjustments and will be adjusted accordingly.

[Feature/QoL Improvements]

Returning Summoners will now be able to receive Growth Jump and Path of Challenge benefits, helping them adapt to the game more quickly.

Although the benefits differ slightly from those for new Summoners, they will be a great help in enjoying the game again.

The Spires of Ascension and Attribute Towers will each be expanded by 20 floors, and a Tower Event will also be added.

Following the recent change making the equipment enhancement success rate 100%, the durability system and related functions will be completely removed.

Durability Restoration Stones that are no longer in use can be exchanged for other items at the Exchange Shop.

Red Enhancement Stones and Blue Enhancement Stones will also be exchangeable for other items.

The (Old) Raid Coin Exchange Shop will be improved so that (Old) Raid equipment can be purchased with Gold, and (Old) Raid equipment will become craftable in the Blacksmithing profession.

Rockstar will be obtainable through the Piece Shop, Monster Selection Tickets, and Piece Summons.

Light Dragon and Dark Nine-tailed Fox will be added to the White Night Selective Summon.

A new Monster Story will be added to Joshua's Bookshelf.

[Transmogrification]

Sunlit Reprieve Onimusha Transmogrification will be added.

[Total War Upper Rankings Abuse Confirmation]

We have received reports on Discord regarding score abuse, which was confirmed to be a method of saving up Total War Tickets and using them all at once. While it is difficult to classify the long-term charging and accumulation of Total War Tickets as a bug or abuse, it is also not a recommended practice. We will continue to monitor this behavior, and if any decisions are made, we will provide further notice.

[Upcoming Updates]

In the final week of August, the White Night Rate UP Summon for Light Hell Lady and Dark Desert Queen will be opened, along with a Desert Queen Exclusive Artifact Rate UP Summon.

In the 1st week of September, the Sword Spirit Exclusive Artifact will be added, along with a Sword Spirit Rate UP Summon.

The new 5★ Monster, Shadowcaster, will join the world of Chronicles on Sep. 11. Shadowcaster of all attributes will be released simultaneously.

The World Challenge Arena season starting on Sep. 15 will proceed as follows:

- Map: Tesca

- Applied Buffs:

  · Increases the DMG of Fire Monsters

  · Increases the CRIT DMG of Fire Monsters

- Environment Effect: Sandstorm

  · Increases CRIT Rate

  · Limits ATK SPD

A region/server merge is planned for October. Details will be provided in a separate notice.
