Battlefield titles lost after merge?

The Battlefield Nightmare/Overlord/Transcender titles were not applied after the region merge, making it impossible to purchase the Bike Frame even if you had qualified for it. (I was Rank 18 previous season, which would have been able to purchase it today) Was this intentional?
