if com2us really want their game to look more lively, they should make the treasure chest in every map to contain very good items, like l&d scrolls, white night scrolls, convert items, etc. and the chest must be in a random location and will respawn every 30minutes. that way more people will want to explore the map.
they should also add a new key that you must have in order to open those chests. that key must also be craftable.
