Greetings from the <Summoners War: Chronicles> team!

We would like to inform you about the 03/08 (Wed) update.

Please read below for more details. 

* Contents may change after the update maintenance is over.

▶ Friend Battle

- Added [Friend Battle], where you can freely choose your opponent and play Brawl Arena.

- You can create a lobby and enter via [Arena] - [Friend Battle].

- Arena settings (Game Mode / Rules / Privacy) can be set up when creating a lobby.

- You can select a lobby from the list or use a join code to enter. Private lobbies require a join code to enter.

- You can set up rules to decide the first pick.

* You need at least 2 attribute weapons and 8 Monsters to play Friend Battle.

▶ Training Area

- Test the skills and compositions of the Summoner and Monsters in the [Training Area].

- You can enter the Training Area via [Summoner] - [Training Area].

- Only the Monsters you own can be used in the [Training Area].

- You can set up the number of target creatures and boss type. The damage dealt by the Summoner and Monsters can be checked on the damage meter.

▶ Transmogrification

- Added a new transmogrification, "Sky Seeker Pioneer".

* "Sky Seeker Pioneer" can be purchased at the Arena Shop.

▶ Equipment Refinement

- [Equipment Enhancement] will be available through the Blacksmith NPC as well as [Durability Restoration] and [Refinement].

- Added [Refine Equipment] to the [Enhance] menu.

- Added new refinement material items.

- Modified Blacksmith NPC interface and tutorials (Enhancing Equipment / Equipping Gems / Effect Stones) according to the changes induced by the addition of the equipment refinement feature.

▶ Tutorial

- Changed the Monster provided during the early story progression from 3★ Gore (Water) to 4★ Inugami (Wind).

- Added tutorial descriptions and modified tutorials accordingly.

  · Tutorials will not be shown if you've already completed them.

▶ Hero Area

- Boss appearance in the Hero Area can now be checked without having to enter the map.

- Notifications will now appear for creature appearance and disappearance in the Hero Area.

- Added a Hero Area fast travel button to the minimap that you can use to enter the Hero Area from any area.

- Elite/Boss creatures in the Hero Area will now be shown with an icon on the world map and minimap.

▶ Book

- Hero Area Creature Book will be added.

  · Creature hunted before the Book update will be reflected in the update.

- The number of Monster Pieces needed to increase the level for 4★ Monster Book Effect has been lowered.

▶ Arena

- Added a Tip menu that displays various guides in the Arena.

- The entry icon in the main menu will be changed when the Brawl Arena is open.

- An alert will pop up when there are 10 [Challenge Arena] daily entries left.

▶ Two Ascensions

- [Retry] button will be shown when you fail the ascension,

- The loading screen will no longer be shown when entering the next floor in Spires of Ascension and Attribute Towers.

- Quests will now be instantly cleared if a higher floor than the clear condition is cleared in the Spires of Ascension.

- Trial of Ascension Special Room entries will now be shown.

▶ Battle

- AI Mode will always be applied in Monster Control settings.

- Follow / Focus attack buttons will be shown, and each can be turned on and off.

- Follow Party Leader button will now be placed above the auto battle button.

- Deleted the Summoner's ultimate cooldown in Challenge Arena, Brawl Arena, Battlefield, and Galagos Ruins.

- The skill that consumes more mana out of the soul-linked Monster's 1st and 2nd skills will be automatically used.

  · Deleted the minimum mana setting.

▶ Party Dungeon

- Everyone can obtain a bonus reward in Raid and Seal when clearing them with a Beginner Summoner.

  · The beginner sign will be applied for 10 dungeon clears.

- Modified some Raid entry conditions.

- Seal lobby will disappear if members are not filled up for a certain time.

- Modified the MOV SPD and skill range of the Seal Boss, "Giant Statue Noah".

▶ Quest

- Modified the Elite Raid Area Exploration Quest completion conditions and added new quests.

▶ Battlefield

- [Battlefield] Changed the size of the Sky Stone in the center.

  · Available mines are unchanged.

- [Battlefield] Summoners are protected for the first 10 entries. A bonus reward will be given if there's a protected Summoner on your team.

- Protected Summoners can be easily identified with a protection symbol above their heads.

  · Protected Summoners have a protection icon. The no. of Unrefined Sky Stones owned and Sky Stone refine gauge will not be shown.

- The following cannot be obtained from defeating a protected Summoner.

  · Kill Points/ Unrefined Sky Stones/ Rank Kill Count/ Battlefield Title Kill Count/ Quest Kill Count/ Kill Alert

- Mining Rank 2-3 will now receive bonus rewards in [Battlefield].

▶ Summon Altar

- Monsters with a 0% summon rate will not appear on the list of probabilities in the [Summon Altar].

- Light and Dark Mileage I and II will be added.

▶ Rune

- Improved the [Rune Storage] so you can check the Rune information by pressing the [View Details] button.

▶ Field Event

- Some cooperation-type field events will be changed to participation-types.

▶ Guild

- Improved guild search to search for guilds based on their join conditions.

- Modified the guild contribution points to be obtainable after 24 hours of joining the guild.

- Added a feature that allows you to collect all guild contribution rewards at once.

▶ Profession

- New recipes using "Enhancement Shards" and "Rune Enhancement Stones" will be added.

  · New Recipes: Shiny Dice, Ruby Brooch, Chess Piece

▶ Ride

- Improved so that the speed of the fastest ride in possession will now apply to all rides.

▶ Shop

- The types of Monster pieces being sold in the [Arena Shop], [Guild Shop], and [Ascensions Shop] will be changed.

- The icon for the Galagos Shop will be changed.

▶ Lizardman Exploration HQ

- Sky Stones will be added to Lizardman Exploration HQ.

 · The Lizardman Snack item is required to search for the Sky Stones.

* Lizardman Snack items can be purchased through the General Merchant in Rukurangma or crafted through Cooking.

* Lizardman Snack can be purchased up to 15 times per week.

- Added a function that asks you if you want to search again when the search is completed after proceeding to the Lizardman Exploration HQ.

▶ Exchange Center

- The exchange currency [Rahild] will now be classified into [Paid Rahild] and [Free Rahild].

 · Rahilds purchased with Paid Crystals will be classified as Paid Rahilds.

 · You'll receive Free Rahilds upon selling items on the Exchange Center.

- A message regarding the display of the item for sale will be shown when registering them on the Exchange Center.

※ You can check your current Free/Paid Currencies in [Settings] > [Account].

▶ Controls

- Added a [Reset Camera] feature, which quickly rotates the camera in the direction that the Summoner is facing.

 · The [Camera Reset] feature can be turned ON/OFF in [Settings] - [Game].

- Modified the controls in Challenge Arena, Brawl Arena, and Summon Altar so that you can press the buttons using a gamepad.

- Improved so that you can still control your Summoner even when the Monster replacement pop-up is open.

▶ Other

- Improved the issue of the Transmogrification not being applied via certain ways.

- Added an effect to the Book icon when a new Collection Challenge opens.

- Added a feature that lets you move to the Package Shop when there are not enough Crystals needed to revive.

- Added a feature that asks if you'd like to re-explore after a Lizardman Exploration HQ is completed.

- Modified the dungeon entry recharge pop-up so that you can recharge all entries at once when using Crystals.

- Modified the dungeon entry system to allow additional recharges without consuming all the entries.

- Added a [Reward History] feature to the inventory interface, which allows you to easily view items obtained from dungeons and fields.

  · The [Reward History] icon can be found at the bottom right of the [Bag] tab. Only items obtained through hunting creatures, gathering, mining, treasure boxes, and fishing will be recorded.

  · Up to 300 records of the obtained items will be displayed. The record will disappear upon logging out or pressing the [Delete History] button.

- Modified the notification to appear when a Secret Dungeon is opened.

- Added a damage meter tab to show only the damage dealt by the Summoner and its Monsters while in a party.

  · The damage meter will remain the same as before in a solo party.

- Added a new emotion, "Support".

- The minimum level to purchase a Megaphone in the Package Shop has been increased to level 35.

▶ Two Ascensions

- The rewards for clearing some floors of Spires of Ascension / Tower of Attributes have been changed.

▶ Guard Journal

- [Adventure Record] - Chapter Completion Reward for Chapters 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, and 14 will add Restoration Stone x1. 

- The rewards for clearing some quests in Adventure Record have been changed.

- The reward for clearing [Area Dungeon] on Easy difficulty has been increased.

▶ Quest

-  Clear rewards for some Rahil Kingdom Story quests have been changed.

- [Rahil Kingdom Story] - The number of Sky Stones obtainable as the third progress reward for [Act 4. Unlucky Helper] has been increased from 3,000 to 15,000. 

 - Clear rewards for some Area Explorations have been changed.

▶ Path of Growth

-  At each stage of Path of Adventure and Subjugation, the probability of obtaining higher-grade runes/equipment has been increased.

▶ Event

- Certain mission clear conditions in [Devilmon’s Special Mission] have been changed.

- Some of the [Devilmon’s Special Mission] rewards have been adjusted to help the new Summoners grow.

- The rewards for [Playtime Reward Event] have been increased.

▶ Compensation Distribution Information according to the Update Improvements

- Transcendence Scroll x1, 5★ Devilmon x2, 4★ Devilmon x5, Restoration Stone x3 will be given to all Summoners according to the quest rewards that will be adjusted after the update.

- Distribution Period: After the update on 03/08 (Wed) - 04/20 (Thu) 23:59 PDT

- Excluded from Distribution: Accounts created after the 03/08 (Wed) Update Maintenance

▶ Collect Cloud Cotton Candy

- Event Period: 03/09 (Thu) 00:00 - Before 03/23 (Thu) Update (Updated on 03/08 22:10 PST)

- Event Info: Clear missions to collect the Cloud Cotton Candy!

▶ Spring Day Sweet Theme Park

- Event Info: Recover the Cloud Cotton Candy and exchange them for gifts! 

▶ Lucky Bingo

- Event Info: Get 4-leaf Clovers every time you clear the Path of Growth and play Lucky Bingo to win some amazing rewards!

▶ Plenty of Mystical Summons

- Event Period: 03/10 (Fri) 00:00 - 03/25 (Sat) 00:00

- Event Info: Perform Mystical and Rate UP Summon and earn 'Mystical Scroll' and 'Legendary Scroll' based on the total number of summons!

* The use of Transcendence Scroll, Legendary Scroll, Attribute Scrolls, and Unknown Scroll does not count for this event.

- Fixed the issue of entering the [Brawl Arena] with the attribute that the Summoner is using on the field when selecting an attribute that is not equipped by the Summoner on the field.

- Fixed the issue of not being able to turn on notifications on certain Android devices.

- Fixed the issue of beneficial effects and recovery between party members not being applied in certain game modes.

- Fixed the issue of the notification list appearing in the wrong position on iOS devices.

- Fixed the issue of a red dot appearing on the appearance change tab in the outfit crafting menu.

- Fixed the issue of Specter Night Lord's skill being abnormally long-ranged in Galagos Ruins.

- Fixed the issue of incorrect Aura names being displayed in Power of Ascensions.

- Fixed the issue of being able to move without using the elevator in some areas by using a mouse.

- Fixed the issue of Renegade Knight King's skill description displaying incorrectly in Guild Raid strategy info.

- Fixed the issue of the Summoner name and clear time texts overlapping in the dungeon strategy info.

- Fixed the issue of the invitation being available even when all slots are filled in the [Party Dungeon] - [Seal].

- Fixed the issue of the skill animation not displaying properly when 5★ Polar Queen's Knockdown skill applies harmful effects.

- Fixed the intermittent issue of being kicked out of the map when trying to follow a party leader who's in the Hero Area.

- Fixed the issue of the button not displaying properly when a guild leader tries to view guild members' information.

- Fixed the issue of Shoerekly's skill cutscene repeating multiple times in Galagos Ruins.

- Fixed the issue of some buttons not displaying in the selected language when the Summoner is defeated in the Hero Area.

- Fixed the issue of 4★ Light AV's skill description missing some parts.

- Fixed the issue of Rune's sub property grades not displaying normally.

- Fixed the issue of some sounds not playing when previewing Summoner skills.

- Fixed the issue of being unable to control the Summoner after using the Mini Airship to move to a new map in certain situations.

- Fixed the intermittent issue of the chat window disappearing.

- Fixed the issue of being unable to use weapons of a certain attribute on the field after a Brawl Arena battle.

- Fixed the issue of the Hero Area icon appearing before completing its pre-quest.

- Fixed the issue of being unable to retrieve previous guild chat history.

- Fixed the issue of the guild leader's account name not displaying properly when searching a guild.

- Fixed the issue of the remaining time for Brawl Arena matches not being displayed in certain situations.

- Fixed the issue of some items not being displayed for sale in the Exchange Center.

- Fixed the issue of Runes not being displayed properly in the Rune Storage in certain situations.

- Fixed the issue of the Summoner's skill cooldown not being applied properly in certain situations.

- Fixed the issue of being taken to the wrong page when pressing the [Sharpening] guide quest.

- Fixed the issue of NPCs disappearing during a conversation when auto-battle is toggled.

- Fixed the issue of the retry button displaying when defeated on the field.

- Fixed the issue of certain texts on the field event page not appearing in the selected language.

- Fixed the issue of some terrain in Casslan not loading properly on certain devices.

- Fixed the issue of the Restore button for Monsters removed from the defense deck not resetting immediately in the Challenge Arena.

- Fixed the issue of a battle starting with the Summoner being eliminated when entering the Brawl Arena while the Summoner is dead.

- Fixed the issue of the close button on the event banner not appearing when accessing the Account/Summoner Level Up Pass in the Package Shop.

- Fixed the issue of Trace of Research not being obtainable when clearing a battle-type stage in a random stage of Galagos Ruins.

- Fixed the issue of system messages not appearing properly in the chat window for 5★ Monsters.

- Fixed the issue of the Buy button remaining active after purchasing a ride in the Package Shop.

- Fixed the issue of harmful effects displaying the wrong icon for Vita and Tau in Elite: Foggy Prison.

- Fixed the issue of Exploration Captain Lizardman's dialogues overlapping.

- Fixed the issue of the Gold reward not dropping for defeating creatures when entering the Hidden Room in Trial of Ascension.

- Fixed the intermittent issue of being unable to progress in the [Dormant Volcano] quest dungeon.

- Fixed the issue of certain dungeon entrance images not displaying properly in certain situations.

- Fixed the issue of some backgrounds appearing cut off when entering the equipment enhancement menu on certain devices.

- Fixed the issue of the recruitment button being activated even when all slots are filled in the [Party Dungeon] - [Seal].

- Fixed the issue of overlapping pages when moving to the item source in the Collection Challenge menu.

- Fixed the issue of Guild member's levels being displayed as account levels instead of Summoner levels when sending party invitations.

- Fixed the issue of the 4★ Light Harg skill icons appearing in a different order in Challenge Arena.

- Fixed the issue of certain objects not being displayed properly in Galagos Ruins.

- Fixed the issue of abnormal camera movement when a Monster dies immediately after the Summoner's death in Challenge Arena.

- Fixed the issue of some equipment-related tutorials displaying abnormally.

- Fixed the issue of the selected language not being displayed in the [Party Dungeon] - [Seal] result screen.

- Fixed the issue of overlapping texts in the Collection Challenge menu.

- Fixed the issue of 5★ Light Magic Knight's outfit appearing black on some devices.

- Fixed the issue where far-away Monsters don't use their ultimate skills in certain situations.

- Fixed the issue of the Galagos Ruins portal image displaying abnormally.

- Fixed the issue of PWR not displaying properly when equipping equipment that increases the level of attribute research skills.

- Fixed the issue of the backspace key not working when logging in with PC.

- Fixed the issue of the boss' image appearing too dark in the Strategy Info of certain floors in Galagos Ruins.

- Fixed the issue where the Thirst effect icon was overlapping for 5★ Vampire (Wind).

- Fixed the intermittent freezing issue on the loading screen when entering [Party Dungeon] - [Rupture] - [Sunken Ruins].

- Fixed the issue where movement in the Hero Area would stop in certain situations.

- Fixed the intermittent issue where the Guild Master title doesn't apply correctly.

- Fixed the issue of 4★ Dark Vagabond's skill icon displaying abnormally.

▶ Ending Events/Content

* Please make a note of the event/content’s ending date and claim any rewards beforehand.

▶ Package Sales Scheduled to End

* After the update on 03/08 (Wed), sales of subscription products and some regular sale package products will end, and newly repackaged products will be added.

* If there is a subscription product currently applied, you cannot additionally purchase a new subscription product until the subscription period ends. New subscription products can be purchased normally after the subscription period for the existing subscription product has ended.

▶ Light and Darkness Summon Scroll Mileage Application Information

- Light and Dark Mileage I and II will be added to the Summon Altar. Retroactive application will be applied to Summoners who purchased a package that included Light and Darkness Summon Scrolls before the mileage was added.
