[Stormblade Sanctum] Difficulty Notice
GM Chronicles 9hours ago

Greetings from Summoners War: Chronicles.

First of all, we would like to sincerely thank all of our Summoners for their continued love and support for Summoners War: Chronicles.

Since the Raid rework, we’ve seen many Summoners take on the new Raids, enjoy farming stronger equipment, and delve into analyzing set effects. Watching so many of you genuinely enjoy Chronicles has been truly rewarding, and we are very grateful.

Following the release of [Stormblade Sanctum], we’ve been closely monitoring many Summoners taking on Lucifer and carefully observing their challenge progress.

However, due to the difficulty exceeding our expectations, we have noticed that many Summoners are experiencing difficulty in clearing this Raid, resulting in Summoners feeling more frustration than enjoyment from the challenge.

In light of this, and in alignment with our top priority of ensuring that our Summoners enjoy the content, we are currently reassessing whether the difficulty of [Stormblade Sanctum] should be adjusted, taking into account the timing of first clears and other related factors.

We are also closely reviewing feedback regarding the Monster Damage Limit effect, which may cause certain Summoner classes to feel at a disadvantage. This class disparity was anticipated during development, and to mitigate the gap, we have prepared a balancing passive effect called Balance of Power, which has already been applied to the Raid.

- Balance of Power (Adjustment values vary by class):

• Knight / Support-type Summoners: Greatly increased damage dealt

• Warrior / Mage / Archer / Assassin-type Summoners: Slightly increased damage dealt

• Mage / Archer / Assassin-type Summoners: Greatly reduced damage received

• Support-type Summoners: Moderately reduced damage received

• Knight / Warrior-type Summoners: Slightly reduced damage received

Naturally, for Support-type Summoners like Kina, the expected total damage output may be lower due to having fewer offense skills. However, Balance of Power is designed to ensure a meaningful contribution based on damage standards.

After careful review, if we determine that balance adjustments are necessary for the new Mythic Raid, we promise to notify all Summoners in advance through another notice. We ask for your understanding as we continue to monitor and refine this challenging environment, and we sincerely thank you for your valuable feedback and dedication in attempting to be among the first to clear the raid.

Additionally, we’d like to provide information on improvements based on other feedback we’ve received:

- Reduced Gold Burden: In response to concerns about the gold cost of equipment enhancement, we are increasing the Gold Hot Time bonus from 30% to 100% and running it continuously for four weeks.

- Enhancement Material Support: In response to feedback about the burden of Enhancement Shard consumption, we will be distributing Enhancement Shard x5,000 daily for two weeks via login rewards.

 · Period: Jul. 16 - Jul. 30

We will do our utmost to provide a more enjoyable gameplay experience.

Thank you.
