Hello Summoners, This is the Summoners War: Chronicles team.

We would like to make an additional announcement to address our Summoners’ concerns.

First and foremost, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience many Summoners have experienced due to the current bug abuse issue. We are aware of the severity of the situation and are focusing all our efforts on resolving it. We are devastated to learn of the impact this has had on our Summoners. Therefore, we have prepared this announcement to provide details and transparency about the situation and to explain the measures we are implementing accordingly.

First, we will provide insight into the current situation.

Our team strives to provide an enjoyable yet challenging experience for Summoners in content such as the Attribute Towers, Expedition, Hero Raid Rankings, and more. By placing conditions (e.g., Attribute, Class) on Monsters, we give Summoners the opportunity to plan teams with a variety of Monsters. To support this, we have added a lobby feature so that Summoners can easily utilize presets. However, an issue arose where the set field team was not being reflected in real-time when moving from Mystic Island to such content. We performed temporary maintenance today to fix this issue. Additionally, we added a step for Summoners to re-check their currently set team before entering the selected content.

Many Summoners voiced their concerns about this issue, and we did not initially investigate it with the required level of scrutiny. To take responsibility for this shortcoming, we are reviewing this issue in accordance with the Summoners War: Chronicles Operation Policy. Unfortunately, we concluded that all play records of Summoners in all content needed to be reviewed today to ensure that other routes aside from the Mystic Island could not be abused to bypass the Monster conditions. We expect the process of extracting and analyzing past data and setting clear standards to determine the existence of wrongdoing will take a long time. As such, we ask for your understanding and patience.

We are currently extracting the data of suspected Summoners and will review the data to establish clear standards.

We will conduct our investigation carefully to avoid penalizing any innocent Summoners who enjoyed the content properly and will focus our efforts on ensuring a fair gameplay environment. Summoners found guilty of wrongdoing through our investigation will be penalized fairly based on objective evidence, and we will provide transparency throughout the entire process to conclude the situation in a trustworthy and acceptable manner.

As a closing note, the purpose of this announcement is to provide a detailed summary of the situation and to explain the reason behind the long maintenance time. Our top priority has always been, and will continue to be, the Summoners who have shown their support and love towards Chronicles.
