A new Monster, 5★ Dragon Knight, has been added to the world of Chronicles after the Jun. 29th update.

It is said that Dragon Knight's DEF and HP have been improved through special training.
Some of its skills have been enhanced as it entered the world of Chronicles.

We have received word that numerous Summoners are expressing considerable interest in the new Monster!

So, we have prepared a special guide to assist all Summoners in effectively using Dragon Knight.

▌Power Up with CM Serena (Guide to Dragon Knight)

1. Basic Info on Dragon Knight

- Dragon Knight is a Knight-type Monster that battles with the power of dragons.

It can withstand enemy damage with its powerful defense and attack.

- Dragon Knight has different effects for each attribute,

and its key effects are DMG Mitigation Ignoring DMG, DMG based on DEF, and more.

- It also possesses survival effects, such as Shield, Immunity, DEF UP, and Remove Harmful Effect,

and it also has skills that can CC the opponent, such as Skill Deceleration, Frostbite, and Stun.

2.  Information on Fire/Water/Wind Dragon Knight

① Tough bruiser that deals continuous DMG with a passive like Counterattack! “Fire Dragon Knight”

- Awakened Name: Laika

- Main Keywords: #DMG Mitigation Ignoring DMG, #Stun, #Shield, #Immunity

- Main Skills

[Justice]: Attacks the enemy target with blazing fury and recovers its HP based on the damage dealt.

This attack always has an attribute advantage.

* Since it always has an attribute advantage, this attack receives 20% increase in DMG and 10% bonus on CRIT Rate. 

[Dragon's Fang]: Attacks enemies within the area and stuns them with a certain chance.

Grants a Shield to itself based on the damage dealt.

This attack ignores the target's beneficial effects that reduce the damage taken.

[Noble Blood - Passive]: Damage taken at once does not exceed a certain ratio of its MAX HP,

and uses Justice with a certain chance when hit by a skill attack.

Applies Immunity to itself if the Shield disappears after taking damage from an enemy's attack.

[Ultimate Dragon's Fang]: Attacks enemies within the area and stuns them.

Recovers its HP and grants a Shield to itself based on the damage dealt.

This attack ignores the target's beneficial effects that reduce the damage taken and always has an attribute advantage.

▶ Serena's Monster Tip: It’s mainly used in Battlefield, Challenge/Brawl Arena as it consists of PvP-specialized skills.

[Noble Blood - Passive] is similar to Counterattack.

So using the “Justice” skill when attacked by a skill will trigger Drain, ensuring both survivability and damage.

Furthermore, Immunity will be applied for 10 sec when the shield generated from [Dragon's Fang] disappears.

Thus, it can counter various harmful effects and serve as a reliable bruiser.

In addition, since the [Justice] skill will apply as an attribute advantage over the same Fire attribute, it can be used against Fire Monsters as well as deal powerful attacks on Wind Monsters.

It can effectively neutralize the opponent with its AoE stun that can be applied with the [Dragon's Fang] skill.

② Powerful nuker DPS that uses the dragon’s soul! “Water Dragon Knight”

- Awakened Name: Chow

- Main Keywords: #DMG Mitigation Ignoring DMG, #DMG based on DEF, #DEF UP #HP Recovery, #Remove Harmful Effect, #Frostbite

- Main Skills

[Basic Attack]: Attacks the enemy target.

If its HP is below a certain ratio and has a certain LV of Dragon's Soul or above, consumes Dragon's Soul to recover its HP.

[Justice]: With blazing fury, deals damage based on its DEF to the enemy target. 

This attack ignores the target's beneficial effects that reduce the damage taken and deals increased damage based on its Dragon's Soul LV.

[Flow]: Creates an aura that embodies the Dragon's Energy.

Removes a harmful effect on itself every certain time while Dragon's Energy is active and applies Frostbite to enemies within the area with a certain chance.

In addition, applies DEF UP and Dragon's Soul to itself upon successfully removing a harmful effect.

[Ultimate Flow]: Creates an aura that embodies the Dragon's Energy.

Removes 2 harmful effects on allies within the area every certain time while Dragon's Energy is active and applies Frostbite to enemies within the area.

In addition, applies DEF UP and Dragon's Soul to itself upon successfully removing a harmful effect.

▶ Serena's Monster Tip: Water Dragon Knight that manages the dragon’s soul

is responsible for countering Monsters that use many harmful effects.

Dragon’s soul can be collected with the [Flow] skill, and using the [Justice] skill consecutively can

deal a tremendous amount of damage at once.

It is highly efficient in situations when you need harmful effects removed during the ban-pick phase in the Brawl Arena.

③ Block the enemies from using their skills! “Wind Dragon Knight”

- Awakened Name: Leo

- Main Keywords: #DMG based on DEF, #Skill Deceleration, #DEF UP

- Main Skills

[Torrent]: Deals damage based on its DEF to the enemy target and applies Skill Deceleration.

Uses Super Torrent 1 when used during soul-link with a certain LV of Dragon's Soul or above.

[Dragon's Fang]: Deals damage based on its DEF to enemies within the area and applies Skill Deceleration.

Applies DEF UP to itself. Applies Dragon's Soul to itself based on the number of targets hit.

[Eye of the Storm - Passive]: Accelerates its skill cooldown for a certain time at the start of the battle. 

Applies Dragon's Soul to itself every certain time during battle. 

Decreases the damage taken based on the Dragon's Soul LV. Suppresses all enemy and allied ultimate gauge up/down effects. 

(This passive skill is only applied in the Arena and Siege Battle.)

[Ultimate Torrent]: Applies Dragon's Soul to itself.

Then, deals damage based on its DEF to the enemy target and applies Skill Deceleration.

Uses Super Torrent 2 if it has a certain LV of Dragon's Soul or above, and additionally applies Dragon's Soul if it's a certain LV or below.

▶ Serena's Monster Tip: The skill deceleration effect can have an impact on the usage of skills at a crucial moment while playing PvP, so it can effectively counter opponents that heavily rely on rapid usage of skills.

Furthermore, this Monster is strong as both a DPS and tank due to DEF UP and DEF based DMG.

3. Development and Runes 

- Dragon Knight’s Runes should be set up similar to a typical DPS Monster,

but it requires additional properties, such as HP and DEF.

- Prioritizing ATK(%), CRIT DMG, and CRIT Rate is crucial, 

and it is advised to consider sub properties, such as HP(%) and DEF(%).

- In terms of Rune sets, it’s best to go for the Rage Rune, which gives increased CRIT DMG

and Destroy Rune, which is favored by most DPS Monsters in PvP.

▶ Main Runes: Use Rage Runes and Destroy Runes

▶ Main Properties: ATK(%), CRIT DMG, CRIT Rate, HP(%), DEF(%)

* It is recommended to set one of the main properties to HP(%) Rune out of 2nd, 4th, and 6th Runes for better survivability.

* Since most skills are ATK-based, ATK(%) property is the top priority.

* It should be followed with a high CRIT DMG. High CRIT DMG will allow the Monster to deal significant damage to enemies with a single blow.

※ Other Development Tips

- Not only can Runes be enhanced, but they can be improved further using Galaxy Stones and Spell Books.

* Galaxy Stone and Spell Book must have properties appropriate for Dragon Knight.

- Since Galaxy Stones and Spell Books can be crafted via profession, you must increase the profession level continuously.

- Galaxy Stones and Spell Books of unwanted properties can be combined,

so give it a try when you have enough resources in hand.
