I’ve returned to the game for over a month now, and I’d like to share some sincere suggestions:
1. Game announcements could be more frequent, and the same applies to social media. This represents the image of the game, and it’s not something that should be cut back on. Maintaining regular communication with players is key to retaining them.
2. The cooldown period for matching the same player in RTA could be reduced to 30 minutes. With the current low player base, matchmaking is already difficult, and longer restrictions may further discourage players, creating a negative cycle.
3. Take advantage of the anniversary to launch more events, especially ones that encourage multiplayer participation. It would give confidence to the players who stayed and might even attract returning players (like me).
4. New monsters are necessary. The release cycle doesn’t need to be as frequent as before, but at least one new monster per quarter should be maintained.
5. Organize more events tied to festive seasons throughout the year.
6. Release more skins (for both summoners and monsters). This is important!!!!!!!! otherwise players may experience aesthetic fatigue.
7. If possible, consider doing some crossover collaborations. Even something simple would work (shouting out for Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End) XD
8. Introduce something like a city idle/reward system where players can gain rewards or EXP while being “online” and afk in city, creating a sense that the game world is still active and lively (by seeing a lot of player LOL).
9. Gradually adjust monster skill and constellation balance. Currently, some monsters feel excessively overpowered.
I understand that cost-cutting measures are being implemented, it’s quite obvious LOL.
However, as one of the games under the Summoners War IP (and considering that some assets here could even be shared with Summoners War: Rush), I believe it’s still worthwhile to maintain the game’s momentum at a reasonable level (the ROI may not be as strong as before, but it wouldn’t be poor either).
This is a good game, it just needs proper management and steady operation. It doesn’t need aggressive, chaotic changes like in the past to continue running successfully for a long time.
