From the moment I am writing this note , there are currently only 4 orbias in the top 20 in brawl . And needless to say , they are whales (but they are still getting wrecked by most mid-high tier kina players or even high tier cleafs which are not even whales)
This might look like a rant , which indeed might be one of a sort. But the reality is that right now orbia as a summoner is way behind other classes in PvP.
Let me explain myself.
As an orbia we have huge burst damage , and we are supposed to take down our opponents in a matter of seconds , but now imagine there are 3 assassins running after you. How do you even do damage while trying to survive in a few seconds? You don't , you just die to kinas/cleafs with immunity and assassins.
We had a good friend , called galleon , may his soul rest in peace now . Galleon was allowing us to burst down a few difficult targets such as assassins or the enemy summoner itself if they were not playing properly but now this option is out of the window. (big indirect nerf to orbia)
Kinas have been overbuffed in my opinion , they have just everything to make them rule arena , they got the immunity , they got the survival skills and the burst dmg skills to buff their warriors/assassin to just mow you down. Without ofc forgetting their ability to revive their minions if they go down , so basically you are being permanently oppressed by kinas in area , relentlessly hunting you down. Now the disgusting meta is to basically use ethna and the old man along with a vanessa to do this, and you can't do anything pretty much to counter this because wind kina immunity / buff and healing is broken.
As an orbia i found myself constantly running away in arena from both cleafs/kinas/assassin the whole day , which forces me to always play with knights/support/healers to have a small chance to survive so i can do some damage and win the game. So i am basically forced into a playstyle , while cleafs and kinas have the options to use many other type of monsters because they have a lot of survivability skills. Orbias are the worst off in choosing their summons in arena.
Orbia are very stats dependent too , you are forced to go full attack/crit dmg because tank orbia is useless in the arena . But for kina/cleaf they can have a healthy mix of defensive/offensive stats. So life is hard if you fail your stats rerolls.
Cleafs have endure + quick ultimate animations + great gap closer and a lot of damage if built properly and self sustain , kina's have a bit of everything which make them so unpredictable and oppresive… but orbia got only damage and a low survival passive. It just does not feel fair in the arena.
This is an orbia rant for sure , but it is also real. Please either give orbia some survival skills (which will be against the theme of glass cannon mage) or give us a least more immunity removal tools , not just from our light weapon , maybe even a buff steal , or an oblivion passive.
That or either make all summoners on the same level again by removing immunity from kina , and lower a bit cleaf damage ratio (you can't be a monster tank who does a ton of damage at the same time while healing yourself bro) . Just buff orbia or nerf the others , but make it balance , because it is totally not at the moment.
