Currently we're able to bring our field team to elemental towers in spires of ascension.
It is done by opening the tower stage from your mythic island. The stage will ask you to bring three monsters with the same element as the tower so replace your field team with any monster of the same element. Upon entering the run you'll have your field team with you.
