Taking an example, say I have a Vanessa with a shield rune set with 2500ATK and an Ethna with 6000ATK. Would the shield applied on both be based on Vanessa's ATK or on the individual monster's ATK? Would both Vanessa and Ethna gain 6250 shield or would Vanessa gain 6250 shield and Ethna gain 13500 shield? 

A correct translation for the former would be “Grant a shield equal to 250% of the ‘wielder’s' ATK to team members.”

But this says the target's ATK… 

Please be more specific when describing these features because this makes theory crafting more difficult than it should be. I really enjoy the game, thus the reason for me to post this maybe stupid looking post. Thank you for any clarification provided!
